Privacy
How information is handled.
This client-review draft describes the current website, which has no contact form, visitor accounts, advertising pixels, or configured analytics. It must be reviewed against the final hosting and vendor setup before publication.
Information you choose to provide
The current website links directly to Gregory Smith Law's public email address and does not use an online contact form. If you send an email, the firm receives the address you use and the information you include in the message.
Do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-critical information unless the firm has asked for it and confirmed that it represents you. Contacting the firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
Hosting and transport
A hosting provider may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, device information, and browser details. Email providers and other infrastructure vendors may process information needed to transmit, secure, and store direct communications.
Current website features
This review site has no visitor accounts, advertising pixels, configured analytics, or online intake form. If any of those features are added, this policy should be updated before the feature is enabled.
How information may be used
Information sent directly to the firm may be used to respond to the inquiry, evaluate whether the firm can consider an engagement, operate and protect its systems, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with legal or professional obligations. No representation begins unless the firm confirms an engagement in writing.
Client review before publication
This is substantive draft language for client reaction. Gregory Smith Law should confirm the final hosting provider, email and infrastructure vendors, analytics, retention practices, account ownership, required state disclosures, and privacy contact details before publication.
